Newcastle Airshow 2011
My first time at the Newcastle airshow and enjoyed it very much - even though it was a tad cold - for me anyway! It is another of those country airshows and the folk in Newcastle are very friendly and made us feel at home.
The SAAF were there to show off the hardware to people who have never seen this sort of thing before and they loved it.
The airshow was enjoyed by all, the Gorilla act as usual went down well with the crowd and CC Pocock had fun blowing stuff up - to the delight of the crowd!
The Silver Falcons did well - as usual and the flypast with CC was a first and awesome - late afternoon, early evening which made the flypast really nice - a photographers dream.
